FINAL PRODUCT: FRONT COVERS

FINAL PRODUCT: CONTENTS PAGES

PRODUCTION: Audience Feedback Results on Draft Final Products

100% of my focus group said my contents page was conventional of a contents page. Therefore I am going to keep the layout of my contents pages the same.

100% also said they could recognise the sense of a brand identity across the front covers and contents pages which is key to creating a brand. I am happy with this feedback as it shows I have successfully created a house style.

As the online presence of magazine is so vital. I wanted some feedback on the similarity. I have taken on board not underlining the masthead and am going to connect the stories across from the print and online further. However, the majority of my feedback is positive which is good but I am just going to attempt to connect the print and online further by connecting stories.

I am going to include the price of a year's subscription on my website and my contents page. The majority of the the audience feedback said £25 so this will be the price I will include as the audience appeal is very important as my audience are 16-25 so may not have excessive amounts of money to spend.

71.4% of my audience said they could recognise the intertextual references on my magazine covers which is positive as not all of the audience is expected to recognise the intertextual references. It is just the preferred reading (Stuart Hall Reception Theory).
